Description

Originally my MFA project was going to be about the baby boomers living in Marbella, Spain, in a Martin Parr style. Many of these early images show my generation enjoying themselves and keeping fit to ward off the years. Covid struck and Marbella, like many places, changed dramatically. Building projects got shelved, car dealers had no customers and the visitors were unable to spend money in restaurants and department stores. Pretty soon we couldn't travel to our home in Benahavis for long holidays and like most people , we hunkered down in the UK where I was able to complete my MFA with remote learning.
